This hotel is always recommended! Friendliness, service, comfort, cleanliness, great rooms and a breakfast that left nothing to be desired. The great location adds to this. When I'm in Vienna, be it for business or pleasure, Johann Strauss is my first choice!

Service and food was exquisite. But if you eat a 3 course menu the portions were quite too big. Big recommendation!

We stumbled upon this place after leaving a concert at St Peters just up the road. It was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were in the mood for some good Italian food and this restaurant did not disappoint, The food was just right, tasty and a value for the money. We did not look any further and came to eat all 3 nights. The pasta dishes were fantastic as Appetizers.

Located on a small side street, the restaurant is larger on the inside than appears from the outside. They have an antipasti buffet which we ordered as our appetizer. There’s about 10-12 items and we liked them all. For our entrees, we had the lasagna and the tortellini. While both were good, the Tortellini was our favourite. Service was fine. There is a cover charge on the bill. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant was very busy when we left.

Ristorante Firenze Enoteca

Stumbled across this restaurant on one of the quiet side streets near St Stephens Cathedral. The selection of breads, olives and dips was perfect to nibble on while awaiting main pasta courses. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was delicious. followed by desserts of tiramisu, Having read previous reviews about being pressurised to add a tip, we did not experience this. The service was fine and we enjoyed a very relaxing, enjoyable meal.

Finally, after 4 days of moderate eating (including schnitzel at Figlmüller) a ray of hope! It was excellent and not more expensive than other restaurants that want to be a little “better”. Here you eat really well. It's worth it!

We had brunch already a couple of times at the Firenze. There was again an excellent, Variation of starters, followed by a trout served with herb butter and almonds in a separate bowl with various vegetable side dishes. The sumptuous dessert buffet rounded off the successful brunch.

We had business lunches. It was a barbecue evening and we enjoyed the fine offers. The meal was excellent. The good pieces of meat are freshly prepared. Salad, meat, dessert also available as "All you can eat". The service was good. If you're lucky, the Thursday demo will come along;)

I love to be here, of course preferably when the weather is good and you can sit on the terrace. But the Roth is also the perfect location either for a coffee or for lunch. Both the daily menu and all other dishes are recommended. Even special requests are gladly fulfilled. The staff is friendly and discreet, the atmosphere is elegant. Ideal for meetings and private meetings. Gladly again!

Restaurant Roth

We wanted to have a cozy family lunch and followed a Google recommendation to the nearby Restaurant Roth. I have known Hotel Regina since childhood, but unfortunately not the restaurant. Unfortunately not, because we dined very well, at an unbeatable price-performance Ratio. But I will make up for this from now on and will be happy to visit this restaurant again and again in the future and, of course, warmly recommend it.

Ristorante Settimo Cielo
5 stars
The restaurant has a breathtaking backdrop and offers a great view over Vienna. The service is incredibly friendly and courteous and not overbearing. Simply top and great, great praise. With food: the menu is manageable, which I personally find pleasant, because with too many dishes the selection is so difficult. As asparagus is in season in May, there are special offers for special creations from the kitchen. Pasta and risotto are offered as primo or secondo piatto, so that you can enjoy yourself. Filet was fried on the spot medium and the starter with prosciutto and beef tartare are simply recommended. The restaurant rightly bears its name in the 7th heaven due to the excellent food and the fantastic view.

As part of the restaurant week for lunch with friends. The place is of course completely full, of course, the service is very hard working, and very quick, both when it comes to the drinks and the food. Although there was a lot going on, the dishes came quickly. Very good starter - pickled salmon with wild herbs, and as a main course sea bass on tomato bulgur - excellent, as was the dessert - chocolate brownie. The restaurant offers a wonderful view, a place to stay!

Very good cocktail and wine list. The menu is not too long and not too short. We had the fish consommé and the Jerusalem artichoke soup. Both excellent. Then the spinach and goat's cheese terrine, very good, maybe a little mildly spiced (which many people prefer anyway). I had the pumpkin ravioli. Also seasoned very delicately. The rabbit fillet is soft and delicious. The main course was the huchen - excellent. My companion was the Kalbsbackerl, which were also very, very good. At the end we had the curd cheese cake together. The service was very friendly, reacted very professionally in the event of an error. The ambience is very, very nice. Even better on a warm summer evening, but even now it was nice. The prices are not cheap.

Affordable two courses with amuse gueule in advance, excellent selection, products, execution and presentation of the dishes, gluten-free pastries in the deck possible, great ambience, fantastic view, from which you also have something in winter at noon, very nice team, what more do you want? A gem - we'll be back...

Nice hotel in an excellent location around the corner of St. Stephen's Cathedral. The rooms are rather old fashioned but spacious and clean and despite the location relatively quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is extensive and good. Good restaurant on the roof and sky bar with a view over the rooftops of Vienna. We'll be back!

Hotel Royal

The hotel is in a perfect location, right next to St. Stephen's Cathedral and subway station at the intersection Graben / Kärntner Straße. Staff very attentive and friendly, rooms stylish traditional, clean and well maintained. Windows soundproof against the street noise. The rooftop restaurant is very good, staff very attentive, a last evening drink at the bar with a view of St. Stephen's Cathedral. Only the pastry at the breakfast buffet could be "tastier". Recommendation to 100%, casual is also the park service if you arrive by car.

A few steps from St. Stephen's Cathedral located hotel of the Kremslehner group. Older, well-run hotel, which borders directly on the pedestrian zone with the Kärtnerstrasse and the Graben. Subway station with the lines 1 + 3 directly in front of the house. We had a large room with a dressing room on the 5th floor. The staff was nice and accommodating. Ideal hotel to get to know Vienna, its imperial attractions or just its gastronomy and café culture.

Hotel Johann Strauss

This hotel scores above all with great, courteous and helpful staff, very clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired. Especially the coffee machine in the breakfast room is sensational, it makes many kinds and all were delicious. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the location of our room: just above the suppliers entrance, since it was very loud at six o'clock in the morning. Top also the location to the subway (two minutes) and the own coffee machine in the room.

Graben Hotel
5 stars
A wonderfully charming house right in the center. This hotel is located in a mostly quiet (blind) alley, I had a room without a view, but extremely quiet for such a location. Small and with a little Spartan style, but quite adequate. Highlight is the breakfast, a room with the charm of past (more beautiful) times, waltz sounds reinforce the impression that one has changed the century. Absolutely contemporary breakfast, surprisingly rich and very good, very good. I love juicy, fresh bread (of course also rolls & Co). Otherwise to mention: very nice and courteous staff, everywhere!

Hotel Regina

The Hotel Regina is a traditional hotel in a very good location. The interior is partly old but in very good condition. What must be mentioned especially positive is the cleanliness of the rooms and especially the bathroom. The breakfast is excellent - varied and of good quality. The staff are very personable, friendly and hard-working. I was there on a business trip and would definately stay there again.
-
Hotel Regina
Room, breakfast, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff are very praiseworthy. Apart from small defects (too short shower rod, shaky Wi-Fi, a little creaky parquet floor), the hotel is very recommendable due to its very good location and the plus points mentioned above. We will be back.

Second living room! I am happy to recommend this time again the Hotel Regina: clean, well-kept, friendly .. really to feel good! Even though we had a relatively small room this time, I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the staff, especially those at the front desk. But also the breakfast buffet: very delicious and versatile, especially the fine rolls. So prepared, a long day can come ....

My husband and I (sometimes my daughter) are very, very happy to be in this hotel. We travel to Vienna every year because our daughter studied in Vienna a few years ago, we visited her often and we fell in love with the city of Vienna. To your hotel: Your staff is extremely courteous, always friendly and helpful. The ladies and gentlemen at reception always have a smile on their faces. Just as the bell boys and the staff in the restaurant Roth (also at the breakfast buffet) are very human and quiet, even if a lot of guests are present. Also, I do not want to forget that the rooms are always 100% clean and tidy. We look forward to next year, to Vienna and the Hotel Regina.
